Una lucha reñida, día a día y voto a voto, fue el que protagonizaron Dina Paucar y Sonia Morales en busca de convertirse en "Mejor Artista Femenina Folclore 2012", título que al cierre de nuestra encuesta recayó en la intérprete de éxitos como "Corazoncito", "Perdóname" y "Dónde estas amor".
Es bueno señalar que el rubró del folclore fue uno de los más reñidos de este año y es que desde el inicio de nuestra encuesta el público apoyó abiertamente a su artista favorita, situando por tres semanas consecutivas en el primera lugar a la llamada "Diosa hermosa del amor".
Sin embargo, en las últimas semanas los numerosos seguidores de La Internacional Sonia Morales se lanzaron al ruedo y mediante sus votos e impusieron su veredicto y no pararon hasta convertir a su favorita en la ganadora del título "Mejor Artista Femenino Folclore 2012".
No hay duda que el cariño de los amantes de la música andina hacia ambas artistas es total, eso pese a la aparición de nuevas figuras, muchas de ellas de la zona sur del país, que pese a la gran promoción que hicieron este año y por decisión del respetable se vieron relegadas a posiciones lejos del primer y segundo lugar.
En la encuesta que realizamos en Ritmos Peruanos el resultado final fue el siguiente:
Primer Lugar: Sonia Morales con 146 votos, que significa el 40 por ciento del total de los votos.
Segundo Lugar: Dina Paucar - 123 votos (34 %)
Tercer Lugar: Fresialinda - 38 votos (10 %)
Cuarto Lugar: Rosita de Espinar - 30 votos (8 %)
Quinto Lugar: Haydeé Raymundo - 20 votos (5 %)
Siguen en la lista y empatando Anita Santibañez y Yobana Hancco con 17 votos (4), Gisela Lavado con 14 votos (3 %) y Marisol Cavero con 11 votos (3 %)
